 The ancient city of Sigiriya has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. The ruins of this ancient rock fortress and former capital lie on 'Lion's Rock' and date back to the 5th century. Ancient gardens with walled terraces and moats still surround the settlement whilst frescoes can still be seen on the rock face. For those with a head for heights, you can climb to the summit of this gigantic rock to see the ruins of Kasyapa's palace. Sigiriya is world renowned for its frescoes, the Lion Stairway, the mirror wall and the lovely water gardens.

DAY 1

Day 01- Dambulla

On arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be met and assisted by our chauffeur at the arrival lounge. Thereafter you will be transferred to the hotel in Sigiriya where you will stay 2 nights

DAY 2

Day 02- Dambulla

After breakfast visit Minneriya National Park Morning: Tour of Minneriya National Park You will travel to Minneriya National Park for a safari game drive. DAY 3

Day 03- Dambulla > Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast set Journey to Nuwara Eliya, where you will be visiting the Ramboda Falls and Bluefield Tea Factory on the way, The beautiful town of Nuwera Eliya is set in the heart of Tea country and situated 1890 meters above sea level, where the British succeeded in creating and English countryside. At your convenience commence a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the Nuwera Eliya Town, Market Place, Golf Course, the Hill Club, and drive around this hill station viewing Lake Gregory. Overnight Stay: Nuwara Eliya

DAY 4

Day 04- Nuwara Eliya > Ella

After breakfast leave to Ella and do some sightseeing which includes the Ella rock, Ravana cave, Ravana Falls and nine arch Bridge, enjoy the nature and the surrounding Overnight Stay: Ella

DAY 5

Day 05- Ella

Early morning departure Kumana national park for a safari ride, while in the bird sanctuary you may get the opportunity to see large flocks of migratory waterfowl and wading birds, after the safari returning back to the Ella Overnight Stay: Ella

DAY 6

Day 06- Ella > Udawalawa

Early morning transfer to Udawalawa, with a picnic breakfast a safari ride into the Udawalawe National Park will enable you to spot the elephants in the Wilderness. The varied habitats in Udawalawe make it home to a diverse spectrum of animals. The main attraction at Udawalawe however are the elephants, with a herd of 600 to 700 elephants believed to be residents of the Park. The Udawalawe National Park is home to many more species of Sri Lankan wildlife which include the endemic Toque Macaque and the Sri Lankan leopard (seen very rarely). The Sri Lankan Sloth Bear has been recorded as well, but it is seldom seen. Overnight Stay: Udawalawa

DAY 7

Day 07 – Udawalawa > Yala

After the breakfast transfer to the yala for a safari, Yala National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s premier eco tourist destinations is renowned for its variety of wildlife notably its many elephants. It is also home to the spotted deer, sambar, wild buffalo, sloth bear, jackal, mongoose and crocodiles. The peacock is easily the most famous of the birds in this park. Yala has a high concentration of Leopards although seeing these nocturnal carnivores still requires some luck. Overnight Stay: Yala

DAY 8

Day 08- Yala > Mirissa

Leave for Mirissa, where you will be staying for 2 nights. Enjoy surfing in Midigama 15 mins away from the hotel or just choose to explore beach night life in Mirissa Approx. journey time: 2 hours Overnight Stay: Mirissa

DAY 9

Day 09- Mirissa

Early morning 5.30am depart for the Whale watching in deep sea. Approximately it would be a 4 -5 hour journey in the sea. Overnight Stay: Mirissa

DAY 10

Day 10 – Mirissa > Airport

The tour concludes in Sri Lanka this morning as you transfer back to Bandaranaike International Airport for flight back home. Approx. journey time: 1.5 hours
